PRODUCT DETAILS
Under specification ASTM A633/A633M,it covers steel grade A633 Grade A,A633 Grade C,A633 Grade D as well as A633 Grade E.All the steel plates belong to Normalized high strength low alloy structural steel for welded, riveted, or bolted construction. This material is suited for low ambient temperatures where the desired notch toughness is better than that expected in as-rolled materials of comparable strength level. The material shall have fine austenitic grain size and shall be normalized by heat treatment. Its chemical composition shall be determined by heat analysis. Tension tests shall also be done.
Heat Treatment: Normalized,for A633 Grade E material over 75mm in thickness shall be double normalized or As rolled ( If customer indicated in their order and accepted)
Weldability:When the steel is to be welded, it is presupposed that a welding procedure suitable for the grade of steel and intended use or service will be utilized. See Appendix X3 no id found of Specification A 6/A 6M for information on weldability.
Chemical composition & Mechanical property
Note: For A633 Grade C manganese content may be increased to 1.60% maximum provided the carbon content does not exceed 0.18%.

For steel plate A633 Grade C Belows 65mm in thickness,Tensile Strength shall be between 485-620 Mpa.Yield Strength shall be above 345 Mpa.
